As Relay For Life Commissioner, you’ll be the heart and soul of Kings’ annual Relay For Life event. You’ll have the opportunity to coordinate and work closely with Huron, connect with the Canadian Cancer Society, and manage donations with our Chief Financial Officer. Relay For Life is an excellent chance for you to showcase leadership by brainstorming creative ideas for fundraisers, joining committees to increase engagement for the event, and supporting those in our community that have been impacted by cancer. Think of yourself as the team’s hype person and event leader extraordinaire! 

Huron and King’s have been hosting Relay For Life for the last eighteen years. Last year, we broke records by having 149 participants, raising over $33,000, and hitting our milestone of over $200,000 lifetime revenue! This year, we are just as excited to make a difference in the community, support those impacted by cancer, and put together an event that is full of passion and fun! 

In 2025, HK Relay broke King’s records, raising over $33,000 with 149 participants!
