FAQs

  • How far in advance should I submit a media request?

Please submit your request at least two weeks before your event. This ensures we have enough time to properly plan, schedule, and design your content. Last-minute requests may be considered on a case-by-case basis, but we cannot guarantee fulfillment.

What’s the deadline for digital calendar submissions?

Digital calendar requests must be submitted at least one week before your event. We’re also happy to promote ongoing initiatives (like club elections or stage productions) as long as they apply to the broader student body.

  • Can I include design inspiration or branding guidelines?

Yes, we encourage you to submit design ideas or inspiration! However, the KUCSC media team retains creative freedom and will collaborate with you to bring your vision to life.

Does KUCSC help with video content?

Yes! We can assist with writing, filming, and producing both short-form (e.g. Instagram Reels, TikToks) and long-form video content. Email communications@kucsc.com to start the conversation.

How can I be featured in The Crown student magazine?

We love highlighting student initiatives in The Crown! Email communications@kucsc.com to discuss a potential feature.

We reserve the right to reject any media request that does not meet our guidelines or standards.

  • Please review the King’s Poster Policy for full details on acceptable poster content, formatting, and distribution guidelines before submitting your request for approval.

Will KUCSC print and distribute my posters?

No, KUCSC does not print or post physical media via this request form. Poster submissions are for approval only. However, we are happy to hang a copy of your poster on our bulletin board should you bring a copy to our office (KC 214).

By submitting your request for approval, you are acknowledging that you are responsible for removing your posters. Posters should indicate a final posting date, which is the event date or 30 days after the poster goes up, whichever comes first. Posters must be removed after this date.

What logos are required on posters?

All posters must include the KUCSC logo. Club posters must also include the club’s logo. Visit our branding page for logo files and usage guidelines.

Can my content appear on the video bulletin boards (screens around campus)?

Yes, but requests must be submitted to the King’s Communications and Media Relations department. VBBs must include the KUCSC logo (and club logo, if applicable). Please also refer to the King’s VBB design guidelines.

  • Can I submit my own graphics to be posted?

We do not post graphics created outside the KUCSC media team on our main channels. You are welcome to attach your designs as reference or inspiration.

Note: Club graphics to be posted directly on @ClubsAtKings are exempt from this limitation.

Where will club content be posted?

All club-related Instagram posts will be shared on @ClubsAtKings. We encourage clubs to post on their own accounts and tag @ClubsAtKings as a collaborator for greater visibility.

How do I request a story reshare on Instagram?

KUCSC is happy to uplift any King’s-related content! Simply tag us or send a DM to the KUCSC account on the relevant platform.
