Shiver me Timbers! Summer has ghosted us and the brisk autumn air is gradually sweeping in… but there is still one more chance to end your summer! On October 7th — sail the Toronto Harbour and Lake Ontario with the KUCSC on the Kajama, a tall vintage boat in Toronto where we will watch the sunset, eat food, and party with a DJ – all for about $50 (early bird rate).
Merge summer and fall vibes by watching the sunset, taking Insta worthy photos, and laughing with friends – all while saying one final goodbye to summer 2026.

When and Where ⚓️
Ahoy, matey! On October 7th at 2:00 pm we will be meeting at the Darryl J. King Student Life Centre Parking Lot to board the buses (coach or school bus ticket options), and will leave at 2:30PM SHARP.
Your ticket covers a comfortable round trip from campus to Toronto, dinner on the Cruise ship, and a DJ — if you're of age, you can indulge in the ship's cash bar! Arrival back to the Student Life Centre is expected for 1:30 am.
Not to mention, all tickets bought until September 23rd will be entered into a giveaway of one of three $25 VISA GIFT CARDS!
What to Bring and Expect 🧳
Government-issued photo ID and your Western Student Card are required for the trip. Arrival to Downtown Toronto is expected before 6pm after leaving from the SLC (Student Life Centre). From there, we will embark the Kajama at 6:30 pm and begin sailing at 7:00 pm! While sailing and watching the sunset – you can enjoy a scrumptious dinner, take iconic selfies, enjoy music from a DJ, and have drinks!
We will disembark at 10:30 pm and we’ll leave Toronto at 11:00 pm – arriving back to the SLC around 1:00 am where you will need to arrange your own transportation home from campus after returning from the trip.
