ABOUT
The role of the President is student-facing, is the voice of the KUCSC, and is the main liaison between King’s administration and the Students’ Council.
The President sits on many committees at the College level to represent the KUCSC and students at large. It is the President’s responsibility to advocate for students at all levels of the College and to communicate information from the College back to the Council. They also provides strategic direction for the KUCSC and is responsible for supporting the success of the other Executives and their portfolios.
The KUCSC President coordinates the activities of the USC Representatives, Speaker, Deputy Speaker, and Governance Associate. Every four years the President is also responsible for writing a new Strategic Plan for the KUCSC that will guide the direction the organization will take in the years to come.

Executive Assistant to the President

The Executive Assistant to the President (EAP) supports the KUCSC President, managing administrative tasks and acting as Recording Secretary for the Executive Council and Board of Directors. Proficiency in Robert’s Rules and KUCSC By-Laws is essential.
The role involves responding to emails under the President's discretion, aiding in executive tasks, and providing support to all executive members.
Governance Officer

Under the direction and supervision of the KUCSC President, the Governance Officer provides governance and elections support to the council. They chair the elections committee, run all elections according to KUCSC policies, and act as the Chief Returning Officer for election-related issues.
The Governance Officer is responsible for facilitating and acting as Speaker for the KUCSC General Assemblies, ensuring fair debate and participation among members while acting in an impartial manner.
