
Diversity and Inclusion Commissioner
Diversity and Inclusion Commissioners organize at least two awareness weeks each academic year focusing on important topics such as diversity of ability, sexual orientation, and cultural and religious diversity at King’s. They collaborate closely with the VPSA to plan and execute impactful campaigns that promote inclusivity on campus.

Chief Financial Officer
The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) manages the KUCSC’s yearly budget, ensuring that resources are effectively allocated across Executives, Representatives, Commissioners, and Clubs. The CFO advises Council members on financial matters, approves spending for new initiatives, and oversees the Grants Pool, which funds student-led events. They ensure that King’s students receive maximum value from the fees they pay to the KUCSC.

Chief Communications Officer
The Chief Communications Officer (CCO) promotes KUCSC activities and ensures the student body is familiar with the KUCSC brand. They create promotional material for the website and social media in collaboration with Commissioners. The CCO works with external partners, including media outlets and King’s Communications, to reach students. They are also responsible for issuing press statements to communicate important information and relay students' concerns. The CCO plays a key role in the success of events by promoting initiatives from the VPSA and VPSE portfolios.

VP Student Events
The Vice President of Student Events (VPSE) plans on- and off-campus events that engage King's students and enhance their campus experience. They work with the King’s Head Soph to ensure the success of the Orientation Program and oversee KUCSC Clubs with the Clubs Coordinator. The VPSE coordinates events like Welcome Back Week, Grad Ball, and Halloween Haunt, which have become beloved traditions at King’s. Their role is integral in shaping the student experience and making King’s feel like home.

VP Student Affairs
The Vice President of Student Events (VPSA) represents student concerns and advocates for their interests within the College and KUCSC. The VPSA oversees events, initiatives, and sits on committees with senior administration. Their portfolio includes Faculty Representatives, Social Representatives, and various Commissioners. The VPSA is responsible for writing an annual Advocacy Paper that outlines the Council's position on issues affecting King's students and ensuring that recommendations from past papers have been implemented.

President
The President is the student-facing leader and voice of the KUCSC, acting as the main liaison between the Students’ Council and King’s administration. They sit on various College-level committees, advocate for students, and communicate information between the College and the Council. The President provides strategic direction for the KUCSC, supports the success of other Executives, and coordinates the activities of USC Representatives, Speaker, Deputy Speaker, and Governance Associate. Every four years, the President is also responsible for writing the KUCSC’s Strategic Plan.

Executive Assistant to the President
Under the KUCSC President’s supervision, the Executive Assistant to the President (EAP) provides administrative support to the portfolio. Responsibilities include acting as the recording secretary for Council and Board of Directors meetings, being familiar with Robert’s Rules and KUCSC By-Laws and Policies, responding to emails at the President's discretion, assisting the President with executive tasks, and supporting all Executives as needed.

Associate VP Student Affairs
The Associate Vice-President Student Affairs (AVPSA) supports the KUCSC Vice-President Student Affairs (VPSA) in managing portfolio programming, events, and advocacy. Responsibilities include coordinating food services and room bookings, assisting with executive tasks, and organizing events like the Speaker Series and awareness weeks. The AVPSA also leads the Student Outreach Team and supports portfolio members in their roles.

Associate VP Student Events
The Associate Vice-President Student Events (AVPSE) supports the KUCSC Vice-President Student Events (VPSE) in managing the portfolio's event development and execution. Responsibilities include vice-chairing Events Committee meetings, assisting with tasks such as material/equipment logistics, event setup and teardown, and collaborating with coordinators/commissioners on event planning. The AVPSE also coordinates food service orders, room bookings, and manages council supplies, including the popcorn machine.

Associate Chief Financial Officer
The Associate of the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) supports the KUCSC CFO in managing financial operations. Their responsibilities include assisting during peak workloads, evaluating grant applications, and conducting annual budget policies. They act as a liaison between the CFO and finance representatives of clubs and ensure adherence to budgetary guidelines for clubs and representatives. The role prohibits holding executive positions in ratified clubs and provides support to portfolio commissioners and coordinators.

Associate Chief Communications Officer
The Associate Communications Officer (ACCO) supports the KUCSC Chief Communications Officer (CCO) in enhancing engagement and maintaining the KUCSC brand. Responsibilities include assisting during peak work periods, fostering relationships with clubs and administration, and coordinating communication efforts across social media platforms. They manage updates to the glass bulletin board, decorate it creatively for events, and prioritize KUCSC promotions through posters and graphics, adhering to branding guidelines.

Pride Commissioner
The Pride Commissioner ensures King’s is a welcoming space for LGBTQIA+ students by collaborating with the KUCSC and the college. They report to the council monthly on relevant issues, create a comprehensive support and resource guide, and work with the communications portfolio to promote LGBTQIA+ awareness days and weeks.

Environmental Commissioner
The Environmental Commissioner is responsible for organizing activities and fundraising events related to environmental affairs. They coordinate with various campus and external groups, including the Director of Physical Plant, the Environmental Intern, and EnviroWestern, to address sustainability at King’s. They support the Environmental and Sustainability Intern, organize Environmental Awareness Week, and oversee the King’s Community Garden with the help of designated coordinators.

Red Zone Commissioner
The Red Zone Research Commissioner is responsible for hosting educational seminars or events on sexual and gender-based violence (SGBV) during the critical first 2-8 weeks of each semester. They conduct research on SGBV causes, prevention strategies, and institutional responses, leading public education initiatives. In consultation with the Dean of Students, they contribute to developing the SGBV framework and may conduct research with ethical approval. Their findings are compiled into a Red Zone Report for review by the KUCSC and the Dean of Students.

Student Outreach Commissioner
The Student Outreach Commissioner is responsible for organizing at least two Awareness Weeks per academic year. They also coordinate spotlight events and campaigns in collaboration with other portfolios.

Student Development Coordinator
The Student Development Coordinator plans campus programming focused on professional development, skill building, and team-building, in collaboration with the CFO and VPSE. They host at least one event per term, report to the CFO, and assist with executive turnover and feedback collection.

Wellness Coordinator
The Wellness Coordinator organizes Wellness Weeks and mental health programming, planning at least one Wellness Week per term. They work closely with the VP Student Affairs to coordinate de-stressor activities, pre-exam wellness events, and student appreciation initiatives. They conduct weekly checks of the Reflection Room, managing its upkeep and inventory. Additionally, they assist in maintaining KUCSC Student Services, such as the Food Locker and Christina’s Closet, and serve as a member of the Student Outreach Team alongside the AVPSA and Outreach Commissioners.

Athletic Commissioner
The Athletics Commissioner is responsible for planning and coordinating a minimum of three sports events per year, managing the distribution and retention of athletic equipment through regular inventory checks, overseeing the collection of fees for team materials in collaboration with the CFO, and assisting the Athletic Facilities Coordinator with the King’s Cobras.

Athletic Facilities Coordinator
The Athletic Facilities Coordinator is responsible for maintaining the KUCSC rink, soccer pitch, and beach volleyball court, overseeing the KUCSC Athletics Staff, coordinating the King’s Cobras, and managing the upkeep of the Games Room and Fitness Centre in the Student Life Centre, including conducting weekly checks and reporting necessary repairs or supplies to the CFO.

Mascot
The Mascot attends events in full costume to engage the student body. They monitor their KUCSC email weekly, confirm or deny mascot appearance requests, and collaborate with the KUCSC Communications Portfolio to create promotional materials. The Mascot is responsible for attending confirmed events in costume, on time, and caring for the mascot gear.
