King's Wheels
What is Kings Wheels?
The KUCSC's bike program is referred to as Kings Wheels. Founded in 2010 by Paul Di Libero, King's Wheels allows Kings students to take out bikes to serve as an alternative way of transportation to and from your destination whether it be to main campus classes, the fitness center, friends houses, or for pleasure.
How does it work?
Annual memberships are purchased at a price of $10.00, which allows the member to rent a bike anytime during the King's Connection hours of operation during the academic the year. Students can purchase memberships during clubs week or at Kings Connection, to do so students must provide their student card along with a second piece of identification.
To take out a bike bring your student card to Kings Connection where you will be provided with a key to a bike locked at the racks outside. The bikes can be found on the racks in the courtyard between Dante Lenardon Hall and the Faculty Building. Each student is allowed to take a bike out for a maximum of 24 hours. To return your bike simply lock your bike up back at the rack and return the bike lock key to a marked box by Kings Connection.
What is it's purpose?
Kings Wheels was established to provide the students of Kings University College with an alternative method of transportation that is reliable, physically active, and furthermore environmentally friendly. King's Wheels is one small way that the KUCSC is responding to students’ requests to reduce our campus' ecological footprint.
